Technology - Drug Delivery

Prior clinical use of the ATA family of molecular targets has demonstrated good specificity for adenocarcinoma cancers – i.e., colorectal, esophageal, gastric and pancreatic. The high specificity of these targets, coupled with the history of their successful employment in human clinical trials, makes them attractive candidates for targeted delivery of cancer therapeutics.

In parallel Enlyton is incorporating other molecular targets into this program. Alternative antibodies, peptides, lectins, aptamers, avimers, and fragments or derivatives thereof, may exhibit differing clearance times (the time required for unbound detector molecules to clear the body after injection) and degrees of specificity for other cancers -- breast, prostate and melanoma for example. Monoclonal antibody fragments, for example, may retain all of the specificity and binding properties of the whole antibody molecule.
