Enlyton recognizes that current methods of cancer imaging and detection are limited in terms of the information provided to oncologists and surgeons. Enlyton’s proprietary molecular targets will be integrated into cancer-specific imaging agents and techniques for use in tumor localization and visualization as the means to improve the treatment and management of cancer. The company’s first molecular target candidate will be used to improve the cancer-specific detection capability of Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and Computed Tomography (CT). In parallel, Enlyton is developing other promising molecular targets and techniques that address imaging and detection applications for adenocarcinoma and other cancers. Enlyton’s interdisciplinary science team embraces the life sciences, clinical medicine, physics and electrical engineering. The company will draw from core competencies in diagnostics, imaging, detection and measurement techniques, surgical methods, pharmacokinetics, clinical trial management and biomedical engineering in the development and validation of diagnostic and prognostic solutions for the treatment of cancer.
